In-Network
I am an in-network provider with the major commercial insurance plans in Minnesota. I handle all claim submissions on my end so you don’t have to deal with the paperwork.

What to ask your insurance provider
Every insurance plan is a little different, and the easiest way to avoid a surprise bill is to know your numbers before your first session. Call the member services number on the back of your insurance card and ask them these three exact questions:
“Do I have a deductible for outpatient mental health visits, and how much is left to meet it?” (If you haven’t met it, you will pay the insurance-negotiated rate out of pocket until it’s met.)
“Once my deductible is met, what is my exact copay or coinsurance amount per session?” (This is the fixed amount you will owe at each visit.)
“Does my plan cover telehealth sessions?”

Out-of-Network
If you don’t have the insurance plans listed above, or if you prefer not to use your insurance for privacy reasons, you can pay out of pocket.
Initial Intake / First Session: $180
Standard Therapy Session (50 minutes): $160
Using Out-of-Network Benefits: If your insurance is with a different provider (like Health Partners), I can provide you with a monthly receipt called a “Superbill.” You can submit this directly to your insurance company, and depending on your plan, they may reimburse you for a portion of the cost.

FAQ
Our standard sessions are 45–53 minutes long. This gives us a focused, dedicated block of time to dive into what you need to work on, while leaving a few minutes at the end to wrap things up and look at next steps.
When we are first starting out, I usually recommend meeting once a week. This helps us build momentum, get a clear picture of what’s going on, and start making daily life feel more manageable right away. As things begin to stabilize and you feel less stuck, we can talk about tapering back to every other week.
Therapy only works if you feel safe and understood by the person sitting across from you. If you ever feel like we aren’t a great match, please let me know. You won’t hurt my feelings. My priority is making sure you get the right support, and I am more than happy to help you find another trusted professional who might be a better fit for what you need.
You will know it’s time when the issues that brought you into my office in the first place start to feel like things you can handle on your own. When your routine feels steady, you can turn off the worry more easily, and you feel confident navigating life transitions or relationship stress with your own clear voice, we will celebrate that progress and talk about wrapping up our work together.
Because your session time is reserved exclusively for you, I require at least 48 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. If an appointment is canceled or missed with less than 48 hours’ notice, a late cancellation/no-show fee will apply. Please note that health insurance companies do not cover fees for missed appointments, so this would be an out-of-pocket expense.
My office is located at 1521 93rd Lane NE, Suite 100, Blaine, MN, 55449. The building is conveniently situated just off of Highway 65 and 93rd Lane.
